Framed 3-D Poem

Great News:  Here's another fun project by yours truly and I've also been featured on "Friendly Friday" (details on the feature are toward the end of this post).  In the words of the Pointer Sisters, "I'm so excited and I just can't hide it".

I was asked to prepare this poem as a gift for a recent graduate.  My instructions were to print it on male-inspired, designer paper and place it in a frame.  Well, you know my mind got busy with the design, frame and everything.  Then, God began to show me how to set it all up (remember I always craft with my Rock, Scissors, Paper).  Check out the finished product - framed 3-D poem.

I printed the poem on 1 page, then printed selected words from the poem on a second sheet.  I cut out the selected words from the second sheet and applied them to the first page using thick double-sided tape (you can also substitue pop-dots to get the raised image).  I luv the way this looks.

In addition to completing this fun project, I recently found out that I'd be featured on "Friendly Friday".  How Exciting!!!  This was such a sweet surprise that made my great day a spectacular one!

P.S. Check the blog hops tab (at the top of the page) to see where I've hopped today.

  7. It is amazing how I see scaps of paper turn into something that brings a smile to their face. I saw it go from nothing to something.

You are great at what you to. I like how God gives them to you. You can be any where doing anything and before you know it you are jotting it all down on any scrap paper you can find. And before you know, BAM!!!

I like the way he works through you.

    Keep up the Great Work!!!!

I would love it if you would grab the bacon time party button to add to your party collection. It will run weekly friday evenings through Sunday.

Thanks again, hope to see you soon.
