A couple of years ago my super-hubby bought me "The Cinch" and I've been using it to make crafty little projects...mainly my "Positive Notes" journals. Let me introduce you to my "Positive Notes"...
Everyone needs encouragement, a "pick me up", a little inspiration, a push, a little something everyone now and again to remind us that we have a reason to keep trying, keep perservering, keep pressing on and just keep on keeping on. Well, God (yes, God Almighty), has a book (the bible) that gives us just that: reasons to "not grow weary in well doing for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up" (Galatians 6:9). He gave me the idea of "Positive Notes" a couple of years ago and I've been using them to uplift, inspire, encourage and remind us of God's power, strength and His abilities every since(He's MOST capable, by the way).
So, let me encourage you today with some of my favorite "Positive Notes"...
"A reminder from God: I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out - plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for". (Jeremiah 29:11 msg) |
This isn't the entire project...only a snippett of the whole thing. Stay tuned for the completed project. You're going to love it.
P.S. Check the blog hops tab (at the top of the page) to see where I've hopped today.
That's a great idea. My mom would find positive notes and put them on the mirror in the bathroom or stick them on the fridge. I found it very uplifting to read them! Thanks for reminding me of this. Cheers
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice idea...it reminds me of when I moved out of a state and a friend put similar notes for me to find as I unpacked and used some things. She was very creative and I just recently found another one of her notes in some things that I rarely use!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea! I am your newest follower via the Welcome Wednesday Hop:) I look forward to seeing the whole project. Please follow back if you get a chance http://aspiringnewmoms.blogspot.com
