There is no telling how many miles you will have to run while chasing a dream. {~Author Unknown}
This is my dream... |
"Transformation" (front of candle) Hand-poured, scripture candle w/ inspirational story that explains significance of scripture and more. (candle made w/ soy wax and cotton wick) |
Somedays I run nonstop. Going, going, going, producing, selling, collecting. Then, there are other days where I can barely muster up the energy to place one foot in front of the other. But here's the good news: "the race is not given to the swift or to the strong" (Ecclesiastes 9:11). In other words, God doesn't issue rewards, medals or trophies based on how fast we run. He's more concerned with our endurance and ability to simply stay on the couse and run the race. I learned as a kid that quitters never win and winners never quit. That's why I "press toward the mark of the high calling of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 3:14) while "laying aside every weight that so easily ensnares me and I run with patience the race that is set before me" (Hebrews 12:1) while putting my hope in Jesus Christ. So, how far will you run? Will you continue to run when the going gets tough or when dream-crushers discourage you? Or will you "watch in hope for the LORD and wait for God" (Micah 7:7)? How far are you willing to run while chasing your dream? I challenge you to run on and find out what your prize will be. Run on and see what God is capable of doing with your dream. Remember, "all things are possible with God" (Mark 10:27). So, have a little faith in your dream and you'll be surprised at how far you'll run to obtain it.
"Transformation" (back of candle) Scripture reads: And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:2) |
"But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded" (2 Chronicles 15:7).
"May your endurance be inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ" (Thessalonians 1:3).

ReplyDeleteAs long as we persist. I mean endure the pains of our labor, we will succeed. Any mother who has given birth, knows that the pain of child labor is worth having her infant in her possessions. The battle may be brutal and tough, but having that little one in your arms, is worth everything in the world. Develop the mindset to endure the pain to receive the pleasure. And you will be a happy go lucky kind again.
ReplyDeleteFor the end result will outweigh the struggle and day.
